Dancing In The Sky in training with Dr Richard Newland
Foxtrot Racing is delighted to offer shares in Dancing In The Sky in training with Dr Richard Newland.
Dancing In The Sky is a five year old by successful sire Court Cave. He is 16:2 tall and has been placed in three good quality national hunt flat races in Ireland. We’ll start him off over hurdles next summer and in time he’ll develop into a very smart chaser.
“He showed good form in Ireland and I’m delighted that he is joining the yard. I’ve always liked Court Cave as a sire and Dancing In The Sky has an exciting future especially over fences. After freshening him up we’ll go novice hurdling next summer and chasing will see the best of him in the long run. He’s a very exciting horse” Dr Richard Newland
Foxtrot’s record on the racecourse is outstanding. At the time of writing 42 of our last 45 runners have won prizemoney while 48% of our runners in 2018 have finished first or second.
We have used the same formula to buy a horse with Dr Richard Newland every year since 2014.
2014 – Discay (£16,000) won four times for Foxtrot
2015 – No Win No Fee (£15,000) won twice for Foxtrot
2016 – Blagapar (£20,000) won three times for Foxtrot

Cost & further details
There are twenty shares available. Dancing In The Sky cost £22,000 at the Golfs UK September sale. Each shareholder will therefore pay £1,100 to buy their share. In addition, each Member will pay £1,350 to cover all keep, training and racing expenses up to 30th September 2019. This can be paid upfront or in instalments. Therefore the total cost is £2,450. Following 30th September next year, a financial statement will be produced showing details of the expenditure and income, including subscriptions and prizemoney won. The surplus will then be credited to each shareholder.
Financial transparency is very important and our Members know their maximum outlay, exactly how their subscription has been spent and also receive back any unspent subscriptions.
Our trainer has an outstanding record of buying horses in training, including Grand National winner Pineau de Re. His friendly and fun personality together with the small stables, which offer individual attention to each horse, are ideal for our Syndicate.
Richard bought Dancing In The Sky because he thinks he will give us an opportunity to win hurdle races in the summer and progress into a very exciting chaser.
“A trainer with a burgeoning reputation for his novice hurdlers. That title goes hand-in-hand with his ability to improve horses from other yards” AtTheRaces
“There aren’t many trainers shrewder than Richard Newland” Racing Post
