Foxtrot is launching a new syndicate for 2014 with a two year old in training with Olly Stevens. Click here for details!
Olly Stevens is the rising star of flat racing. In his first season, with only a small string, he won the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot with Extortionist and he had his first Group winner when Green Door won the Flying Childers at Doncaster.
Raised in Newmarket, Olly has long harboured the dream of training racehorses. During his spells working for James Fanshawe, Jessica Harrington, Bob Hess and Ed Peate, Olly worked closely with many top class horses and received an excellent grounding for a career training.
Robins Farm was recently purchased by Sheikh Fahad Al Thani’s Pearl Bloodstock. Olly, together with his wife Hetta, have been appointed to train from the stables which are in Chiddingfold in Surrey.
Following considerable investment Robins Farm will be boasting some of the latest technology and training equipment for the 2014 flat season. The stables have three purpose built American barns designed by Professor Webster of Bristol University to have exceptional airflow, outstanding gallops and will soon boast a galloping treadmill and a sea walker. The latest GPS technology is used to measure the horses’ heart rate, speed, acceleration and how factors such as turns and slopes can affect their performance. Robins Farm is at the forefront of training techniques and is built to produce winners.
