Gina Rarick trains in Maisons-Laffitte France for Foxtrot Racing.
Gina has trained in France since 2002, alongside her work as a journalist at the International Herald Tribune. She built an excellent reputation and in 2008, she decided to leave her career in journalism to devote herself to training full time.
Raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, Rarick attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and began her career in journalism at the Milwaukee Journal in 1984. As turf writer for the Herald Tribune, Rarick covered major race meetings around the world, including the Dubai World Cup, Royal Ascot, the Hong Kong International Races, the Breeders’ Cup and the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
She moved to France in 1999. Her small yard and attention to details is ideal for Foxtrot Racing. Gina helps with arrangements for partners when they travel to France to watch their horse and she ensures that everyone always has a fantastic time!
