Before taking out his licence, Charlie spent time gaining experience with Oliver Sherwood and Nigel Twiston-Davies before joining Kim Bailey’s yard in Lambourn as Assistant Trainer.

In 2001, Charlie joined Nicky Henderson at Seven Barrows and during this time won the “Alex Scott Memorial Fund Assistant Trainer’s Scholarship (2004)”, which took him to the United States, where he worked with champion trainer, Todd Pletcher.

Based in the Cotswolds, Charlie’s new purpose built training yard boasts outstanding facilities and is the perfect place for our horses to relax and prepare for the racecourse. He is a very talented young trainer and we are delighted that he trains for Foxtrot Racing.
